A Closing Record
In March 2026, Shawn Rodriguez was resentenced and released after more than 23 years of incarceration. This page marks the conclusion of the Help Free Shawn campaign and thanks everyone who supported the effort. I began advocating for Shawn in 2020. Over the following years I reviewed the trial records, worked to raise public awareness, and sought legal review of the convictions and sentences I believed were unjust.
